I admit I'm a local, and maybe biased, but the general store has some of the best pies you will find anywhere. Friendly, quaint and great service. A perfect place to stop off between Bendigo and Ballarat.

This is the place I like to sit and eat country home cooking. Take away and eat in. People are helpful and friendly and have the stables wine bar at the back, which is a great view of local history. The Big Tree is 5 minutes walk from the store and is well worth a look while your their.
